| Stock No. 00619. A rare chip carved mahogany double book box. The lids open from opposite ends and are both loosely fitting owing to age related wear. The two compartments are both shallow, which suggests it was not a snuff box but its original function remains unknown. Welsh Early C18 but possibly earlier. 4" high x 1" wide x 3" deep. SOLD
